FEES competency training is offered through NDoscopy Dysphagia Specialists for medical facilities in NY and NJ. Flexible endoscopic evaluation of swallowing is a procedure where a small scope is inserted into the nares to view the pharynx and larynx during swallowing. It is important to be trained from a qualified and experienced FEES provider to obtain competency. Competency cannot be accomplished with a weekend course. NDoscopy Dysphagia Specialists have completed over a thousand FEES exams and have completed extensive, advanced training in FEES.
FEES competency trainings are offered to skilled nursing facilities, hospitals, rehabilitation, and long term facilities to help Speech-Language Pathologists feel confident in their scoping abilities. We travel to your facility to provide on-site FEES competency training and mentorship for medical facilities in New York and New Jersey for qualified Speech-Language Pathologists. FEES training and mentorship includes chart review, equipment set-up, direct passes with actual patients, disinfection of the scope, FEES analysis and report writing. Competency will include a comprehensive concensus-based verification tool.
NDoscopy Dysphagia Specialists are knowledgeable, professional and approachable. We provide a fun and safe learning environment. After trainings, we are here to help continue your growth!
